My parents think I’m incapable of feeding myself. Therefore, I have created a page to showcase all of my culinary talents. Looks good, don’t it?
What we’ve got here is a good lunch item. I have a lot of bread, too, so I make a lot of sandwiches.
If all else fails….
Ham and Egg Sandwich
I fried that egg.
Egg Salad Sandwich
And I hard-boiled these. There’s mustard in there for a spicy kick. (Kudos to Janna.)
Here’s where it gets interesting. My friends made the side dishes, I made the lemon-rosemary salmon. And it was DELICIOUS. Here is the link to the online recipe I used.
Chicken Marsala (sort of)
I made this for myself and my roommate. I didn’t flour the chicken like you’re supposed to, and used Sauvignon Blanc instead of Marsala wine, but it turned out amazing. The chicken was just right.
Pasta with Sauteed Vegetables
I’m gonna go right out and say it… I got this recipe straight from Mom and Dad. Celine and I sauteed onions, tomatoes, garlic, and mushrooms in olive oil, and it was very good. Next time we’ll give it more time to really cook, though.
Ok, this one is a bit of a joke (Mom and Dad). But hey, I’m allowed to have ramen noodles if I like ramen noodles. Which, in fact, I do.
Salad with Hard-boiled Egg
This reminds me of my friend Maia from St. Mary’s. Last semester, she always had a salad with egg for lunch. It was very quick and simple to make, too: spinach and mixed greens, tomatoes, mushrooms, hard-boiled eggs, some vinaigrette and cheese. Voilà.
The Best Dessert Ever
Hot chocolate and dark-chocolate Digestives. The name sounds gross, but essentially Digestives are graham-cracker type biscuits – the ones I have are coated with a layer of chocolate on one side. They are highly addictive. Yum.
Cinnamon-nutmeg pancakes with fresh strawberries, banana, and apples. Here’s a tip: chop up an apple, and toss it in your hot pan after your pancakes are done. Let it sizzle for a minute or two, and serve on top!
There’s egg, spinach, and onion in these glorified ramen noodles.
Totally just loosely followed this recipe and it totally turned out delicious! Used mild Tesco (the store) curry spice but next time I’m going to have to use the spicy stuff. 🙂
Oh, yes. Stepping it up a notch. I like to call this my “Better than Eddie’s Guac” Guacamole. Because it is.
With grilled chicken and onions, mango salsa, rice, and guacamole. Next time we are going to add cilantro and hot sauce. And then it will be PERFECT.
Egg and Broccoli Thing
I was in the mood for eggs. Don’t ask. It was delicious.

Salmon with Asparagus and Sweet Potato
Psst…. the secret is butter.
Have you ever tasted perfection before? I have. It comes with spinach, mushrooms, and onions.
More to come….
